# how launchonavax works

// a stonkfun.xyz style fair launchpad, built natively for Avalanche.
// bridge in, launch a token, trade the curve, graduate to a DEX.

/* the full flow in 4 steps */

## overview

launchonavax lets anyone create a token on Avalanche C-Chain in one transaction. Every token starts on a bonding curve, so there is liquidity from the very first block. No presales, no team allocation, no manual liquidity setup.

/* step 01: get AVAX on C-Chain */

## bridge_to_avax

You need AVAX on the C-Chain to pay gas and buy tokens. Pick the route that matches where your funds are today:

[ FROM ETHEREUM ]

Use the official Core bridge to move ETH, USDC or other supported assets to Avalanche, then swap for AVAX.

[ FROM SOLANA / STONKFUN.XYZ ]

Bridge SOL or USDC to Avalanche with a cross-chain bridge such as Wormhole (Portal), then swap to AVAX on C-Chain.

[ FROM AN EXCHANGE ]

Buy AVAX on a centralized exchange and withdraw it directly. Always choose the C-Chain network.

WARN: Only send AVAX on C-Chain. Funds sent on X-Chain or P-Chain will not appear in your EVM wallet.

/* step 02: create */

## launch_a_token

  1. $ connect an EVM wallet (Core, MetaMask, Rabby)
  2. $ click [ + launch_token ]
  3. $ enter name, ticker, image, description and socials
  4. $ optionally make the first buy to secure your own bag
  5. $ confirm the transaction — your token is live and tradable

/* step 03: trade */

## bonding_curve

Tokens trade against a smart contract instead of an order book. Each buy increases the price along the curve and each sell decreases it. Because the contract is always the counterparty, you can buy or sell at any time without waiting for a match.

> the curve progress bar on each token card shows how close it is to graduating.

/* step 04: go to the DEX */

## graduation

When the curve reaches 100%, trading on the curve stops. The AVAX raised plus the remaining token supply are deposited as a liquidity pool on an Avalanche DEX, and the LP tokens are locked. From then on the token trades freely like any other ERC-20 on Avalanche.

/* common questions */

## faq

> Do I need to code to launch?

No. Fill in a name, ticker, image and description, confirm the transaction in your wallet, and your token is live.

> Can the creator rug the liquidity?

Liquidity sits in the bonding curve contract while trading, and is migrated and locked automatically at graduation. The creator has no withdraw function.

> Is there a presale or team allocation?

No. Every token is a fair launch: everyone, including the creator, buys from the same curve at the same price rules.

> What wallet should I use?

Any EVM wallet that supports Avalanche C-Chain works — Core, MetaMask or Rabby are the most common.

> I came from stonkfun.xyz. What changes?

The flow is the same. You just need AVAX on C-Chain instead of SOL, and an EVM wallet instead of Phantom. See the bridge section above.
